We enjoyed a great day in Miami.
We slept very well last evening given how early we woke up yesterday morning. The room was very quiet but we probably could have slept standing up. We had breakfast in the room as we had purchased some breakfast items at the Grocery Store last evening.
After breakfast we took a very long walk from the Hotel over to the Port Of Miami which is a few miles from the hotel. This is one of the buildings that we saw along the way.
We saw a few different cruise ships in port. We also saw a Direct TV Blimp and then a little while later an airplane flying towards the blimp but well above it.
On our way back we made some stops to pick up other items that we need for the voyage and we now have most of them purchased. The weather ranged from sunny, to partly cloudy, to a few raindrops, to sunny again all in a couple of hours. On our way back to the Hotel we purchased salads from the grocery store and brought them back to the room to eat. After lunch we went back out to walk around.
Today must have been cranberry day as Keith was decked out in a cranberry hat and a cranberry under armour shirt.
We told you that the "pink piggy" would be in some additional photos during the course of this voyage but we had no idea it would be so soon. He definitely seems to have an affection for both sweets and alcohol so we will need to keep an eye on him.
Before dinner we took a nice long walk over to Claughton Island which is also known as Brickell Key and then we walked around this relatively small island.
We then enjoyed a nice dinner back at Perricone's Italian Restaurant.
We each ordered a house salad as well as the special seafood entree of the evening which was a Norwegian Trout. I was yummy.
On our way back to the hotel we enjoyed the beauty of the Christmas Lights.
We had a wonderful day in Miami.

Mmm that dinner looked yummy. You are going on a cruise I can only dream about so I hope you'll have time to post lots of tidbits about what you see, do and eat along the way. And of course we need to know what Mr. Pig is doing. I came home from work yesterday and that darn pig was in my recliner watching old reruns of Boston Legal. Said he'd been there all day because the whole first season was on. No wonder he's fat!
